Whilst the other Year 9s recovered at home after Rotto camp, four students competed in the National Generation Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition via zoom. Hand selected by the Finder Team to be in the top 30 teams nationwide, Gila, Ariella, Asher and Jordan spent the day in back-to-back workshops learning about different aspects of business models and collaborated with their internationally sourced mentors before pitching in front of a panel of esteemed judges. The competition was tough, with every other team on Friday based either in Sydney or Melbourne, and they ultimately didn’t advance to the national finals but may be entered as one of two wildcards. Stay tuned in the coming weeks to see if our businesses make it through! To get to this stage is true testament to the hard work and dedication that these students have put in this year.
