Mazal tov听to our fabulous Year 7 and 8 Ultimate Frisbee team which听won the North West Associated Schools (NWAS/ACC) Championship on the evening of Tuesday 20 April! This was no easy feat as the competition is participation-based, meaning we rotate our team each week to give all students an opportunity to play. To make it to the final is already a great achievement! Other schools have trials and select their strongest team from pools of students quadruple the size of our cohort. We not only won -听we听smashed the opposition 10 to 2!听听

Special thanks to our outstanding coaches Mrs Robinson (game day coach) and Mr Carter (training coach) who guided the students, some of whom had never played Frisbee before this year, to an outstanding win. Thanks again to all teachers who volunteer their time in coaching a NWAS/ACC team. We may be small but we are mighty!听
